How much does it cost to post a task?

Posting a task is free. You set your budget or pick from offers. When you choose a tasker, a 25% deposit is held so taskers know your job is real, and the rest is held when the job is booked.

What currency and taxes apply?

Canadian tasks are paid in Canadian dollars (CAD), with the sales tax for the province where the work happens (for example HST in Ontario, GST in Alberta). US tasks will be priced in US dollars (USD) when US states open.

How is my payment protected?

Your money is held securely by SaskTask, not sent straight to the tasker. It's released when you confirm the job is done, or automatically 72 hours after completion if you don't raise a problem.

How are taskers verified?

Everyone verifies their email and phone and uploads government photo ID with a live selfie. Taskers also provide a police check before they can work. Documents are reviewed before approval.

How do taskers get paid, and what's the fee?

Taskers get paid to their Canadian bank account after the job is complete. SaskTask keeps a 15% platform fee from the tasker's earnings. Signing up and bidding on tasks is free.

How do I sign up?

Sign up with Google, Apple, Microsoft, or your email address. Verification is the same no matter how you sign up. You must be 18 or older.

What kinds of tasks can I post?

Cleaning, moving, handyman work, yard care, snow removal, pet care, errands, assembly and much more. If you can't find your category, post it anyway and describe what you need.

What if something goes wrong?

Chat with your tasker in the app first. If you can't sort it out, open a dispute before the payment is released and our team will review the messages and photo evidence.
